Biography

Nauman Anwar, MD, is an internal medicine doctor board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Born and raised in Hyderabad, Pakistan, Dr. Anwar pursued a career in medicine to help people improve and restore their overall health. He chose internal medicine because he believes it offers a more comprehensive approach to health than general practice, which he finds necessary.

Dr. Anwar’s clinical interests include allergies, COPD, depression, heart disease and menopause, among many others. His favorite aspect of practicing internal medicine is having the opportunity to communicate openly with patients and educate them about their conditions. He believes listening is key to quality patient care and sets aside time to fully listen to each patient’s concerns, so he can provide effective treatment.

Dr. Anwar currently resides in Plano, Texas. In his spare time, he enjoys playing bridge and table tennis and a range of outdoor activities, including ranching and farming.
