Renjana Mony, MD

Renjana Mony, MD, is a family medicine physician. She attended medical school at the Medical College of Trivandrum-University of Kerala, in India, and completed her family medicine residency at Brooklyn Hospital in New York. She is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Dr. Mony became a physician to make a positive difference in people's lives. She believes her profound fondness for the stethoscope during childhood may have influenced her early love of the profession. She enjoys the all-encompassing nature of family medicine because it allows her to diagnose and treat a wide variety of illnesses and also practice preventive care. She is particularly interested in preventive care and treating diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol.

Dr. Mony’s favorite aspect of her job is observing the joy on her patients’ faces when a treatment plan succeeds. She believes in genuinely listening to her patients and does her best to create an environment where they feel heard, understood and empowered in their health care journey.

Dr. Mony is happily married to her husband, and she is blessed with two handsome, wonderful sons.
