Tanver Mazumder, NP

Tanver Mazumder, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, completed his education at Houston Baptist University in Houston, Texas, earning his Master of Science in Nursing in 2021. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. Trilingual in English, Bangla, and Hindi, Tanver came to Kelsey-Seybold’s Family Medicine department in January 2026 as a board-certified family nurse practitioner with more than ten years of experience in healthcare.
Tanver was inspired to pursue a career in healthcare by a genuine desire to help people during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. He provides primary care for patients of all ages, focusing on each patient as a whole person, not just their symptoms. Tanver’s focus is on preventive care, early diagnosis, personalized evidence-based medical care, and helping patients maintain long-term health and wellness. He also treats a wide range of conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, asthma, allergies, infections, minor injuries, and mental health concerns. Tanver’s clinical interests also include sleep medicine, cardiometabolic health, patient education, and lifestyle modifications. Knowing he played a role in improving someone’s quality of life is incredibly rewarding for Tanver — whether that’s through better sleep, improved symptoms, or achieving personal health goals.
