Sonia Ozurumba, MD

Sonia Ozurumba, MD, FAAP, is a pediatrician who attended Texas A&M College of Medicine in Bryan, Texas, earning her medical degree in 2018. She went on to complete her Pediatrics residency at Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children's Hospital in Houston in 2021. Dr. Ozurumba joined Kelsey-Seybold in April 2025.
Inspired to pursue medicine by her father, Dr. Ozurumba sees patients from birth to age 21 for both well and sick care. In addition to diagnosing and treating acute illness such as respiratory infections and constipation, she helps patients manage chronic conditions like asthma, allergies, eczema, and more. Dr. Ozurumba also provides routine checkups and focuses on healthy child development, including weight management and more. As a pediatrician, Dr. Ozurumba enjoys not only all the cute babies but also watching those newborns grow into wonderful teens and adults.
