Biography

Meghan Woughter, MD, earned her medical degree in 2014 at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, where she remained to complete an internship in 2015. She then relocated to Temple, Texas, to complete her Radiology residency at Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine - Baylor, Scott and White in 2019. Dr. Woughter also completed a breast imaging fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas in 2020. She joined Kelsey-Seybold Clinic as a board-certified diagnostic radiologist in January 2026.
Working as a hospital nursing assistant while in college helped Dr. Woughter find her calling in medicine. As a diagnostic breast imaging radiologist, she focuses on women’s health and wellness, using radiological technology to help make critical decisions for her patients’ care. In addition to routine mammogram screenings, Dr. Woughter works with patients to address a variety of concerns related to their breasts, including new lumps, nipple discharge, breast skin or nipple changes, and pain. Her favorite part of her job is comforting and giving hope to patients.
