Biography

Kurt Johnson, MD, earned his Doctor of Medicine degree at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, in 2016. He remained at Baylor College of Medicine to complete its Orthopedic Surgery residency program in 2021. Dr. Johnson then went on to New England Baptist Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, to complete a fellowship in Adult Reconstruction Surgery in 2022. He joined Kelsey-Seybold in April 2025.
Dr. Johnson grew up watching his father, physician, change patients’ lives for the better, which inspired him to pursue a role in medicine. He sees patients with chronic pain, typically of the hip or knee joints due to arthritis. Dr. Johnson provides both surgical and nonsurgical management of degenerative joint disease and other joint ailments. As an orthopedic surgeon, he loves watching patients get their lives back after treatment.
