Biography

Eric Lowry Cole, MD, earned his Doctorate of Medicine in 1992 at Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, North Carolina. He remained there to complete an internship in General Surgery in 1993 followed by a residency in Otolaryngology in 1997. Dr. Cole also completed a Plastic Surgery residency in 1999 at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and a craniofacial reconstructive surgery fellowship at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles in 2011. Board certified in Otolaryngology and Plastic Surgery, Dr. Cole joined Kelsey-Seybold in January 2026.
Following in the footsteps of his father, who was also an otolaryngologist, Dr. Cole offers care for patients with a broad range of general Otolaryngology disorders. These include infections, swallowing disorders, allergies, hearing and balance problems, and more. He has a particular interest in treating nasal obstructions and skin cancers of the head and neck. Dr. Cole’s favorite aspect of practicing medicine is connecting with patients by hearing their individual stories and improving their difficult problems.
