Biography

Christopher David Hobday, MD, completed his medical education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine, earning his doctorate in 2004. He went on to the McGovern Medical School at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) to complete its Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program in 2008. Dr. Hobday joined Kelsey-Seybold as a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist in January 2026.
Dr. Hobday’s mother inspired him to pursue medicine, and he specializes in women’s healthcare in her honor. As an OB/GYN, he offers a broad spectrum of care for women, including birth control counseling and management, well woman exams, and routine obstetrical, perimenopause, and menopause care. Dr. Hobday also treats his patients for a variety of gynecological concerns such as abnormal uterine bleeding, uterine fibroids, adnexal masses, endometriosis, cervical dysplasia, and pelvic pain. He also specializes in traditional and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. For Dr. Hobday, the best part of being a physician is talking with his patients.
