Biography

Alexis Sabu, MPAS, PA-C, first earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology at the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas, in 2020. She then went to the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, School of Health Professions, to earn her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies in 2024. Alexis joined Kelsey-Seybold as a certified physician assistant in Kelsey-Seybold’s Gastroenterology department in April 2025.
Motivated to pursue a career in medicine by her community, Alexis values having the ability to give back to the people who helped build her into the person she is today. Alexis provides high-quality, individualized, evidence-based care for a variety of gastrointestinal conditions such as diarrhea, constipation, GERD, dysphagia, elevated liver enzymes, and more. She has a particular interest in preventive care, such as colorectal cancer screenings, to improve long-term health outcomes. Her favorite part of being in the medical field is having the opportunity to empower patients to advocate for themselves and take an active role in their own healthcare journeys.
