Chukwuemeka Mba, MD

Chukwuemeka Mba, MD, is a hospitalist who provides comprehensive inpatient care for adults with acute and chronic medical conditions. He earned his medical degree from Meharry Medical College School of Medicine in 2022 and completed an Internal Medicine residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2025. Dr. Mba joined Kelsey-Seybold in September 2025.
Dr. Mba manages a broad range of conditions for patients admitted to the hospital, and his interests include hospital-based management of complex illnesses, improving transitions of care, and prevention education to reduce readmissions and improve outcomes.
With a focus on creating a comfortable, nonjudgmental environment, Dr. Mba provides care that is genuine and grounded in respect.
Dr. Mba enjoys traveling, exploring the music scene, playing basketball, going to the gym, and spending time with family.
