Biography

Tim Tran, FNP, attended Prairie View A&M University in Prairie View, Texas, earning his Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner in 2011. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Prairie View A&M. Bilingual in English and Vietnamese, Tim joined Kelsey-Seybold in December 2025 with more than 25 years in healthcare and more than 15 years of experience as a cardiac nurse practitioner.
Inspired by his parents to pursue a career in healthcare, Tim helps patients with a wide variety of cardiac conditions as well as for prevention of cardiovascular diseases. These include uncontrolled high blood pressure, chest pain, congestive heart failure, and coronary artery disease. As a vital part of specialty care teams, Tim also refers patients to additional specialists when needed. His favorite part of being in the medical field is interacting with patients and seeing how high-quality care can produce favorable outcomes.
