Biography

Luke Carroll, MD, earned his medical degree at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at San Antonio, graduating in 2015. From there, he went on to complete his Anesthesiology residency in 2019 at Texas A&M College of Medicine in partnership with Baylor Scott & White in Temple, Texas. Dr. Carroll joined Kelsey-Seybold as a board-certified anesthesiologist in October 2025.
Dr. Carroll always felt called to become a physician, but his mother’s illness and passing when he was 17 further inspired him to dedicate his life to helping others find hope, healing, and compassion in their most vulnerable moments. Dr. Carroll works as an integral part of patient care teams, providing general anesthesia, regional anesthesia, sedation, airway management, intraoperative patient management, perioperative pain control, obstetric anesthesia, pediatric anesthesia, trauma anesthesia, critical care anesthesia, and postoperative recovery management for a variety of procedures. He also has a clinical interest in airway emergency intervention and treatment. Dr. Carroll’s favorite part of medicine is the human connection — building trust with patients and working closely with the care team to provide safe, seamless care.
