Biography

Felix Olobatuyi, MD, FCAP, is a pathologist who attended the Rutgers University Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Piscataway, New Jersey, to complete his Doctor of Medicine in 2001. After completing an internship at George Washington University in 2002, he went to University Hospitals of Cleveland Case Western Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio, where he completed a combined Anatomical and Clinical Pathology residency in 2007 and a Hematopathology fellowship in 2008. Board certified by the American Board of Pathology, Dr. Olobatuyi joined Kelsey-Seybold in October 2025.
Dr. Olobatuyi’s mother bought him a toy microscope at the age of 14, sparking his interest in science and medicine. As a pathologist, he works as part of care teams, performing fine needle aspiration procedures and reviewing patients’ lab specimens and tissue biopsies to help diagnose a wide variety of conditions. His clinical interests include lymphoma, leukemia, and other blood related disease. Dr. Olobatuyi’s favorite aspect of medicine is having the opportunity to solve interesting cases to help patients recover from illness.
