Biography

Adaobi Atueyi, MD, ABFM, is a board-certified Family Medicine physician who earned her medical degree at Oba Okunade Sijuade College of Medicine, Igbinedion University Okada in Nigeria in 2009. After completing her internship and practicing primary and infectious disease care for several years, she relocated to the U.S. and completed the Larkin Community Hospital Hialeah Florida Family Medicine Residency Program in 2025. Dr. Atueyi joined Kelsey-Seybold in September 2025.
For Dr. Atueyi, achieving her lifelong goal to become a physician allows her to help and serve people in the best way possible. As a primary care provider, she offers preventive care and sick care to patients of all ages. In addition to annual physicals and screenings, Dr. Atueyi has a particular interest in helping patients with women's and men's health concerns, hormonal regulation, annual skin exams and biopsies to prevent skin cancer, and acute and chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, and rheumatologic and other endocrine conditions. In her practice, she doesn’t just treat patients; she educates and encourages them to participate in decision making for their care. She also loves that practicing medicine allows her to build lasting relationships within the community she serves.
