Biography

Quang Tuan Tran, DO, obtained his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at the University of North Texas Health Science Center - Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth in 2021. After an internship at Medical City Arlington Family Medicine, he completed a Family Medicine residency at Texas A&M College of Medicine DeTar Healthcare System in Victoria in 2025. Dr. Tran also holds a Master of Medical Sciences from the University of North Texas Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and is bilingual in English and Vietnamese. He joined Kelsey-Seybold as a board-certified Family Medicine physician in September 2025.
One reason Dr. Tran became a physician was to be in a position to guide and care for his own ailing family members. As a compassionate Family Medicine physician, he provides a wide spectrum of primary care to patients from young children through advanced age. In addition to preventive health, he offers sick care for acute and chronic conditions such as seasonal illness, injuries, diabetes, high cholesterol, and more — and he enjoys counseling his patients on lifestyle changes and weight loss strategies. His favorite part of practicing medicine is having the opportunity to interact with patients and see them improve their health.
With a holistic, patient-centered approach, Dr. Tran focuses on communication and partnering with his patients to create actionable treatment plans that guide his patients to their personal health goals.
When he has spare time, Dr. Tran spends it playing pickleball, reading, and playing video games.
