Biography

Natalie Carter-Bastien, NP, trained at University of South Florida and Wilkes University. Her patient care philosophy is to build meaningful connections with her patients and their families and help them navigate complex medical issues.

From a young age, NP Carter-Bastien felt a deep compassion for those who were ill. As a registered nurse, she dedicated years to working in many areas of nursing, including labor and delivery, open heart surgery, emergency medicine and the ICU. As a result of these experiences, she desired to expand her knowledge base and broaden her impact as a nurse practitioner. She chose to work in oncology so she can provide families with specialized support via clinical expertise and compassionate care.

NP Carter-Bastien was born in Hartford, Connecticut, and raised in Arcadia, Florida. She is married with four children, eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling. Clinically, she is particularly interested in helping her patients manage allergies, asthma, COPD, dementia, depression, diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. She is board-certified by ANCC.
