Biography

Jens Holt-Jensen, DO, MPH, is a fellowship-trained orthopedist who is board certified in both Sports Medicine and Family Medicine. He attended the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, graduating in 2021. Dr. Holt-Jensen then completed his residency at Allegheny Health Network - Forbes Family Medicine in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, in 2024, followed by a Sports Medicine Fellowship at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor in 2025. He joined Kelsey-Seybold’s Orthopedics – Sports Medicine department in July 2025.
As a lifelong athlete who experienced injuries, caring for patients as a Sports Medicine orthopedist allows Dr. Holt-Jensen to combine his fascination with biology and the human body with his desire to help heal others from musculoskeletal injuries, reduce pain, and improve their quality of life. He sees patients experiencing acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain. Dr. Holt-Jensen is experienced in administering intra-articular injections as well as diagnosing, treating, and preventing orthopedic injuries. Aside from the intellectual challenge, what he loves most about practicing medicine is having the opportunity to have a direct, positive impact on his patients' health and well-being.
