Biography

Richard C. Auzenne, MD, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained radiologist who attended Baylor College of Medicine, graduating with his medical degree in 2014. He then went on to Baylor Scott and White in Temple, Texas, where he completed his internship and Radiology residency in 2019. Dr. Auzenne remained at Baylor Scott and White to complete a fellowship in breast imaging in 2020. He joined Kelsey-Seybold as a radiologist specializing in breast imaging in July 2025.
Dr. Auzenne became a physician to make a meaningful impact on people’s lives through science and compassionate care, having long admired healthcare professionals for their ability to combine technical expertise with empathy to support patients during challenging times. Patients are referred to Dr. Auzenne for screening and diagnostic mammography, ultrasound, breast MRI, and image-guided biopsies. In addition to imaging focusing on the early detection of breast cancer — a critical step in improving patient outcomes and saving lives — he also specializes in the evaluation of breast-related symptoms such as lumps, pain, or abnormal imaging findings. What he enjoys most about practicing medicine is the opportunity to make a real difference in patients’ lives by providing timely answers and reassurance.
