For Dr. Chung, medicine is a calling that began in childhood and deepened as he watched his immigrant family struggle to navigate the healthcare system – experiences that helped to shape him into the kind of supportive, compassionate physician he continually strives to be. He sees patients from infants through older adults for health maintenance and well checks as well as treatment of acute injuries and illnesses. He also works with patients to manage chronic diseases like diabetes, hypertension, depression and anxiety, and a variety of other health problems. Dr. Chung is also able to perform osteopathic manipulation when appropriate. As a physician, he most enjoys educating his patients on lifestyle changes that may help them achieve their long-term health goals – finding that with proper guidance, people can really do so much good for themselves.
