Joan Manu, NP

Joan Osei Manu, MSN, APRN, A-GNP-C, attended Prairie View A&M University School of Nursing, earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2018. She then went to University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston Cizik School of Nursing in Houston, Texas, to complete her Master of Science in Nursing in 2023. Joan joined Kelsey-Seybold’s Neurology department as an Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner in March 2025.
Joan enjoys working in medicine to help restore people to their highest level of health so that they may fulfill their life's purpose. She diagnoses and treats a wide variety of neurological disorders and conditions that disrupt the nervous system. This can include persistent headaches, tremors, muscle weakness, paralysis, dementia, poor coordination, confusion, trouble focusing, and more. Joan values every patient, their needs, and their time. She prioritizes actively listening to their needs, creating and implementing individualized treatment plans based on their unique situations, and working in collaboration with the patient and other healthcare professionals to achieve the best possible health outcomes.
