Florence Igwe, NP

Florence “Uche” Igwe, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, first earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Texas Tech University in Lubbock in 2011. While caring for patients as a registered nurse, Uche then completed her Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner in 2016 at the University of Texas Medical Branch School of Medicine at Galveston. She furthered her education at the University of Massachusetts Global - California Campus, earning her Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2024. Uche joined Kelsey-Seybold in March 2025.
As a nurse practitioner, Uche provides compassionate, quality care focused on optimal outcomes. For patients from birth through older adults, she offers preventive care and care for acute and chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, thyroid diseases, cardiovascular conditions, asthma, COPD, headaches, bacterial and viral infections, GI problems, chest pain, seizures, clinical depression, hyperlipidemia, and management for stroke.
Uche builds trust with her patients by listening and providing prompt, high-quality care. She goes above and beyond to do her best every day, always offering empathy and compassion for her patients.
In her free time, Uche most enjoys reading, listening to music, gardening, and cooking.
