Marissa Maldonado, MD

Marissa Maldonado, MD, believes in being “quick to listen, slow to speak.” She prioritizes understanding each patient’s concerns, taking time to listen carefully and deliver thoughtful, compassionate care that supports long-term wellness.

Dr. Maldonado pursued a career in medicine to be a trusted guide for her patients and help them live their healthiest lives. She chose family medicine to build long-term relationships and provide preventive, patient-centered care. Her favorite part of her work is connecting with patients and helping them feel seen and supported.

Dr. Maldonado earned her medical degree from University of South Florida and completed her residency with HCA Healthcare GME. Originally from Crystal River, Florida, she now enjoys movies, exploring new restaurants, visiting local festivals and playing video games. Her clinical interests include allergies, asthma, diabetes and thyroid conditions.
