Raquel Araujo Gutierrez, MD

Raquel Araujo, MD, is an internal medicine specialist. Her approach to care is centered on listening, education and collaboration. She focuses on evidence-based medicine while tailoring care to each individual's needs, preferences and lifestyle.

Dr. Araujo was drawn to medicine because it offered the opportunity to combine science with meaningful human connection and make a tangible difference in people's lives. She chose internal medicine because it allows her to care for the whole patient and build long-term relationships. She treats complex medical conditions while also focusing on prevention and overall wellness.

Dr. Araujo earned her medical degree at Escuela De Medicina, Ignacio A. Santos in Monterrey, Mexico. She went on to complete a residency at Texas Tech University Health Science Center at El Paso. Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with her family, staying active and traveling.
