Christy Knowles, NP

Christy Knowles, APRN, PNP-PC, is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner at Kelsey-Seybold. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Mississippi School of Nursing in Jackson. She then relocated to Texas, attending the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston Cizik School of Nursing to earn her Master of Science in Nursing – Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Christy joined Kelsey-Seybold in March 2025.
Inspired to enter the field of medicine by her father, who was a physician, Christy provides patient-centered care while building a strong rapport with each patient and their family. She offers primary well care and annual checkups in addition to sick care for acute illness and injury. Christy also helps manage chronic conditions such as asthma, acne, allergies, and more. Her clinical interests center on wellness care, obesity management and prevention, and care for student athletes. For Christy, the best parts of her job are being able to interact with her patients and provide reassurance to both them and their parents.
