Gina Mercado, NP

Gina Mercado, AGACNP-BC, first earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1991 at Butuan Doctors’ College in Butuan City, Philippines. She then relocated to the United States, serving as a registered nurse in both New Mexico and in Texas in a variety of hospital and clinic settings with a focus on cardiovascular care. Gina then completed her Master of Science in Nursing in 2022 at Grand Canyon University in Arizona. She joined Kelsey-Seybold in March 2025 as a board-certified Cardiology nurse practitioner.
Encouraged by her mother to enter the medical field, Gina is a thorough, competent, and compassionate provider who diagnoses and treats a wide variety of cardiovascular conditions, such as congestive heart failure, hypertension, peripheral artery disease, and more. Her favorite part of working with patients is having the opportunity to help navigate people through their health problems.
