Biography

Emma Leatham, PA-C, attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, earning her Bachelor of Science in physiology and developmental biology in 2012. She then went to King's College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, completing a Master of Science in physician assistant studies in 2016. After practicing for several years in New York, Emma relocated to Texas. She joined Kelsey-Seybold’s Internal Medicine department in March 2025.
By pursuing a career in medicine, Emma follows in the footsteps of her mother, a registered nurse whom friends and family trusted for medical advice. As an empathetic listener, Emma treats her patients like family, empowering them to reach their health goals through patient education, shared decision making, and encouragement. She provides well care for adult patients and diagnoses and treats any chronic or acute conditions encountered in the primary care setting, such as diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, COPD, behavioral health disorders, infections, and many more. Her clinical interests include psychiatric conditions such as depression and anxiety, smoking cessation, rheumatologic conditions, gastrointestinal health, and nutrition. Through her work, Emma most enjoys making connections with people.
