Yesenia Hernandez, NP

Yesenia Hernandez, NP, provides patient-centered care grounded in compassion, honesty and respect. She focuses on listening closely, being transparent and helping patients feel supported as they work toward better health.

Inspired by a lifelong calling to care for others and her mother’s dream of becoming a nurse, NP Hernandez values building meaningful connections with patients. She finds joy in serving others and appreciates the gratitude patients share when they feel heard and helped. Her approach emphasizes empathy, patience and honesty, including acknowledging when she does not have all the answers while working to find them.

NP Hernandez earned a Master of Science in Nursing from Texas A&M University. Born in Brownsville and now living in Edinburg, she is married and enjoys spending time at home with loved ones and her pets. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree and has clinical interests in diabetes, geriatrics, heart disease, high blood pressure and thyroid disease.
