Biography

Matthew Nguyen, PA-C, attended University of Texas at Dallas in Richardson, graduating cum laude with his Bachelor of Arts in biology in 2021. From there, he went on to the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, completing his Master of Physician Assistant Studies in 2024. Matthew joined Kelsey-Seybold as a Gastroenterology physician assistant in December 2024.
For Matthew, working in the medical field allows him to combine his passion for helping others and his interest in how the human body works. He provides compassionate, personalized care for patients, taking the time to listen to their digestive health concerns and empowering them to make informed decisions. He can diagnose and treat a variety of conditions such as acid reflux, irritable bowel disease, constipation, diarrhea, celiac disease, inflammatory bowel disease, and peptic ulcer disease. His clinical interests include preventive care for colorectal cancer and gut health. As Matthew works collaboratively with his patients in improving their gastrointestinal health and overall well-being, he enjoys being able to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
