Mayra Rosas Carrazco, MD

Mayra L. Rosas, MD, prioritizes communication and empathy when working with patients. She enjoys helping patients increase their quality of life.

Dr. Rosas graduated from the Universidad De Monterrey and later completed a medical residency at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Her desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others inspired her to pursue a career in medicine. She enjoys medicine because it combines science, empathy, and problem-solving. Her role as a physician allows her to care for people during their most vulnerable moments and provides a constant challenge.

Dr. Rosas was born and raised in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico. When she's not working, she enjoys spending time with her dogs. She is especially interested in preventive medicine and helping patients manage chronic conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure.
