Biography

Yiu-Ting Chiu, MD, is a double-board-certified gastroenterologist at Kelsey-Seybold. He attended medical school at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine, graduating with his medical degree in 2014. From there, he went on to Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center – Shreveport, where he completed his internship and Internal Medicine residency in 2015 and 2017, respectively. He remained at LSU Health Shreveport to complete a fellowship in Gastroenterology in 2020. Dr. Chiu joined Kelsey-Seybold in November 2024.
Inspired to become a physician by his parents, Dr. Chiu strives to provide patient and compassionate care. He provides a wide range of Gastroenterology care, with clinical interests centered on colon cancer screening and the diagnosis and treatment of GERD, or gastroesophageal reflux disease. Dr. Chiu’s favorite part of practicing medicine is having the ability to make a positive difference in his patients’ lives.
