I found this MD to be uninformed medically as to interaction of meds, she did not listen to what I needed, did not refill prescription according to the previous directions, demanded that I quit a medicine, demanded that I only take a certain medication for pain, did not assess my pain, was busy during visit trying to catch up on previous MDs notes and did not hear what I was saying to her. I had to repeat some important information to her that she was too busy to hear. When she did not fill my prescription correctly and I requested that be changed (I have used this Rx for over a decade) she refused to do it, stating that if I run out she will refill it. I did not feel she was professional and I felt that she was lacking in knowledge of certain things, and medications and my patient file. The fact that she did not listen to me as the client, and felt her way was best, was an absolute turn off. I fired her and found another PCP. Though “friendly” I would not recommend this MD to others. Listening to the patient is number one priority for me and others. I do not have time to waste on an MD lacking in medication, communication, and listening skills. If you want more details I would be glad to provide.
