Biography

Amy Doan Romagosa, MD, attended Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso Paul L. Foster School of Medicine, earning her medical degree in 2020. Afterward, she completed a residency in Pediatrics at the McGovern Medical School at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) in 2024. Dr. Romagosa joined Kelsey-Seybold as a hospitalist in September 2024.
Dr. Romagosa’s grandfather was a physician in rural Vietnam when she was a child, so she saw how much physicians are able to help so many around them. In her own practice, she focuses on general hospital medicine, treating for admitted patients for things like pneumonia, hyponatremia, heart failure, pancreatitis, and other conditions requiring hospitalization. She has a particular interest in cases involving complex care and enjoys being there for people in their most vulnerable times.
