I have actually seen Dr. Wilson for two consecutive visits! One more will be a record (of sorts). On both visits, he has taken the time needed for me to tell him about stuff that I'm concerned about. I'm always a bit surprised, knowing how much pressure is on medical people to keep visits short and pack as many into an hour as possible. I don't feel that pressure during my sessions with Dr. Wilson. Or at WellMed in general. I'm very happy about that. I've also been pleased and impressed with Dr. Wilson's level of concern about the problems I've discussed with him. He's gone really deep right away to be sure I'm being looked at closely and expertly, whether by the WellMed facility or the 2-3 referrals he's made for me. He looks really young to me, but I'm learning that he knows his stuff and I'm quite happy with him.

He listens to the patient and then decides upon a course of treatment and completely explains the plan to the patient. He read my medical chart and is well versed upon my health status. He takes the time to be a caring Doctor and not affected by the metrics imposed by Optum. He discussed with me how to gain access to the On Call provider, in the event I don’t feel well. He provided complete healthcare to me!!!

I’m unsure how thorough a visit I received based on past experience with numerous previous doctors at this location. He did help me by increasing my dose of Ozempic when I’d reported weight gain after starting Ozempic this year. I was unhappy with the referrals that he’d supposedly requested for me, since the referrals did not go through.

After waiting for him to come to the exam room he didn’t introduce himself. The nurse said she’d go find him. He asked me why I was there. I felt like I was taking up his time when I was the only one in the waiting room. I did have an appointment. He is the most unprofessional doctor I’ve ever seen. I’m changing doctors from WellMed.

Having only begun seen him in the last 12 months, I feel it is too soon to give him highest ratings until I experience more interactions/guidance. So far I find only thoughtful, positive and appropriate actions on his part.

Only seen him twice. I had gotten use to Peter Nutson and he was gone. Dr.Youngblood and the lady doctor afterwards were great. Also Dr. Wilson was supposed to cut my 100mg losartan to 50mg, but didn't call it in. Also get an appointment for breast sonogram that I never received.

I’ve only met with Dr Robert Wilson twice. First time he was nervous, but listened. This last time, Dr Wilson had super allergies and stayed a safe distance. He really listened to my needs and set up appointments the other specialty’s or x-rays. He didn’t make me feel rushed.

Since I am completely deaf at this point, we were able to communicate thru an app I have on my cell phone, called notes, were when he asks me a question, i can read it thru the notes app, That is the only way I can communicate these days!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
