Kiran Malikayil, MD

Kiran Malikayil, MD, is a fellowship-trained radiologist who attended Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee, earning his Doctor of Medicine in 2018. He then moved to Shreveport, Louisiana, to complete an internship and Diagnostic Radiology residency at Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport in 2018 and 2023, respectively. He also completed his Body Imaging Fellowship at University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in 2024. Dr. Malikayil joined Kelsey-Seybold as a radiologist in August 2024.
With the support and encouragement of his parents, Dr. Malikayil decided to become a doctor to pursue his interests in continually learning about the human body and working with a diverse array of conditions. As a radiologist, he works with primary providers and other specialists in diagnosing conditions. Patients see him to have ultrasounds, computed tomography (CT) scans, and magnetic resonance imaging (MRIs). His clinical interests center on abdominal imaging.
