Alyssa Short, DO

Alyssa Short, DO, is a board-certified Pediatrician who earned her medical degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth, Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2020. She completed her Pediatric residency at the McGovern Medical School at UTHealth in Houston, in 2023, where she served as Chief Resident during her final year.
Dr. Short’s passion for science and working with children led her to become a pediatrician, as by the positive impact her own pediatrician had on her life. She treats children from birth through their teenage years, offering well-child exams, vaccination counseling, developmental screenings, and care for acute and chronic conditions.
