Biography

Mary Katherine Hofstetter, MD, earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, College of Medicine in Memphis in 2021. She completed her Pediatrics internship and residency at Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children's Hospital in Houston in 2022 and 2024, respectively.
Dr. Hofstetter was inspired to pursue a career in medicine by her mother, a dedicated nurse in Nashville, Tennessee for over forty years, whose commitment to helping others led her to aspire to promote healthy, fulfilling lives from a young age. Her passion for pediatrics was sparked during high school when she had the chance to shadow her own physician.
Dr. Hofstetter's patients seek her expertise for comprehensive care from infancy through young adulthood, encompassing routine wellness check-ups and management of diverse health issues, ranging from acute illnesses to chronic condition coordination.
Her clinical focus extends to promoting healthy lifestyles and nutrition, addressing pediatric mental health concerns, and exploring how social determinants of health influence pediatric care. Dr. Hofstetter provides holistic and personalized healthcare, emphasizing preventive measures and supporting the overall well-being of her young patients.
