Luis Benavides, MD

Luis Benavides, MD, takes a whole-person approach to treating patients, prioritizing active listening to help make informed, meaningful medical decisions.

Dr. Benavides attended the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He chose to pursue a career in primary care medicine as it allows him to make meaningful contributions to the lives of many patients. Dr. Benavides enjoys serving as a trusted partner in patient care, helping to alleviate pain and suffering while nurturing hope. His favorite part of his role is taking care of patients, diagnosing and managing their medical problems, and forming a relationship with them.

Dr. Benavides was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, and now resides in New Braunfels, Texas. When he’s not busy working, he enjoys spending time with his family. He has a special interest in helping patients who suffer from chronic conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol.
