Biography

Kristina Sikar, Doctor of Podiatric Medicine, DPM, obtained her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami, Florida, in 2018. She went on to Cambridge Health Alliance, a Harvard Medical School Teaching Hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts, to complete her residency in Podiatry in 2021. Dr. Sikar joined Kelsey-Seybold’s Podiatry medical staff in July 2024.
Moved by her passion to help others, Dr. Sikar strives to heal, comfort, and bring hope to patients experiencing even the most complex foot ailments. As a podiatrist, she has a strong focus on preventing diabetes-related complications in the lower extremities, ensuring patients with diabetes receive specialized care to maintain foot health. She also excels in wound care, the early diagnosis of peripheral arterial disease, conducting comprehensive foot evaluations, and performing minor in-office procedures for a range of foot and ankle issues. With every patient, Dr. Sikar approaches their care with the same level of dedication and compassion as she would her own family members, prioritizing conservative treatment measures when suitable and focusing on less invasive options to promote healing and minimize disruption.
