Alfred Laborde, DO

Alfred Laborde, DO, is devoted to helping patients understand their medications and the true causes of their conditions, which he believes is an important first step toward becoming healthy. Diabetes, hypertension and geriatrics are some of his top clinical interests.

Dr. Laborde was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. His desire to combine science and problem-solving with a warm human connection inspired him to pursue a career in medicine and help others. He earned his medical degree at Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency at Chickasaw Nation Medical Center.

Sitting down with patients and listening carefully to their health concerns are Dr. Laborde’s favorite aspects of serving as a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. He currently lives in San Antonio, where he enjoys spending quality time with his family and dogs. Dr. Laborde also enjoys playing board games, video games and playing the piano.
