Kendal Garza, NP

Kendal Garza, FNP-C, started her medical career as a registered nurse, having earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Texas Woman’s University in Houston, Texas, in 2010. She went on to become a certified family nurse practitioner after completing her Master of Science – Family Nurse Practitioner, also at Texas Woman’s University, in 2018.
Kendal was inspired to pursue medicine by the physicians in the doctor’s office where her mother worked. “These doctors were like family to me, and I truly admired their passion and care that they showed to their patients,” Kendal says. Kendal’s favorite part about practicing medicine is getting to connect with others and helping patients accomplish their healthcare goals. She treats all patients across the lifespan from age 3 and above for everything from infections to yearly wellness exams and chronic conditions like high blood pressure and diabetes. She loves being able to help patients improve their health, feel better, and accomplish their goals.
