Biography

Dr. Michael Harms completed his Bachelor of Arts in chemistry and biology in 2011 at Whitworth University in Spokane, Wash. In 2015, he went on to complete his medical degree with honors at University of Washington, where he also completed his Internal Medicine residency in 2018. He completed his Cardiology fellowship in 2021 and his Interventional and Structural Cardiology fellowship in 2022 at the Texas Heart Institute in Houston.
Board certified in Internal Medicine, General and Interventional Cardiology, and Echocardiography, Dr. Harms diagnoses and treats adult patients for conditions and diseases impacting the heart and blood vessels, including chest pain, leg pain, and valve issues. Through evaluation of medical history and physical examination, he assesses heart health, blood vessel function, blood pressure, and vital signs. He can order and interpret imaging and lab tests, as well as treat heart disease and structural heart conditions through prescriptive medications. His clinical interests include coronary stenting, peripheral angioplasty and stenting, carotid stenting, and structural valve interventions.
