Javid Alakbarli, MD

Dr. Javid Alakbarli completed his medical degree at Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 2015. He completed his residency in internal medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center in 2019. He went on to complete his fellowship in cardiology at the Texas Heart Institute at Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center in 2023. Dr Alakbarli’s clinical interests include structural heart disease, complex coronary, and peripheral interventions, with a particular focus on management of vascular wounds. He brings extensive expertise in the treatment and care of these conditions.
Fluent in five languages, he is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and adult comprehensive echocardiography. Additionally, he is a registered physician in vascular interpretation (RPVI).
