Biography

Katrina Zalavarria is a certified family nurse practitioner (FNP) with experience in direct management of patients with acute and chronic illnesses. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2005 at the University of the Philippines Manila, College of Nursing. She completed her Master of Science degree in Nursing in 2014 and achieved certification as a family nurse practitioner at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston School of Nursing.
Katrina has served in a number of nursing roles over the course of her career, including, most recently, family nurse practitioner positions at Pearland Family Medicine from June 2015 to March 2016 and at Memorial Hermann Medical Group – Friendswood from January 2017 to August 2020. She joined the Kelsey-Seybold Internal Medicine department in July 2021.
