Van Vu, NP

Van Vu, FNP-C, entered the medical profession as a certified medical assistant and then as a registered nurse. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at The University of Texas - Health Science Center at Houston and returned there in 2021 to complete her Master of Science in Nursing to become a certified family nurse practitioner. She joined Kelsey-Seybold in October 2023.
Van wanted to practice medicine to advocate for her 90-year-old grandmother who struggles with health problems. She now enjoys treating patients for various acute problems such as allergies, colds, and infections, as well as for managing chronic disease such as hypertension, hyperlipidemia, diabetes, and mental health issues. Her favorite part of working with patients is being able to make a positive difference in their health.
