Biography

Juan Garcia Lopez, MD, always dreamed of becoming a doctor. Today, he's proud to help patients in his community overcome their health challenges. In his practice, he focuses on disease prevention and treatments to improve quality of life.

Dr. Lopez knows primary care services are crucial to community health. As a provider, he enjoys building lasting relationships with patients and members of his community. Dr. Lopez understands patients can't thrive when they receive rushed care, but support and compassion can transform their health outcomes. That's why he takes the time to listen to his patients during appointments and works to understand their unique challenges.

Dr. Lopez was born and raised in Havana, Cuba and later moved to the United States. He graduated from the University of Medical Sciences of Havana and completed his residency in family medicine through the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Today, he lives in McAllen, Texas. In his free time, he enjoys relaxing with family and friends. He also mentors other international health care providers and teaches them to navigate the American health care system.
