Biography

Urooj Qazi, AuD, completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders – Audiology at University of Texas in Austin, Texas in 2017. She went on to complete her Doctor of Audiology degree at Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York in 2021.
From a young age, she knew she wanted to pursue a career where she could help people. As an audiologist, she gets to help patients and their families understand hearing loss and the impact it can have on one’s quality of life.
Dr. Qazi enjoys working with patients of all ages from infancy to geriatrics. Dr. Qazi sees patients who experience hearing loss, dizziness, imbalance, and tinnitus. She also makes recommendations for hearing aids and assistive technology. Her clinical interests are diagnostics, hearing aids, cochlear implants, auditory brainstorm response testing, and balance testing. Her favorite part about practicing audiology is connecting with her patients and helping them understand why they are having the difficulties they are having and providing realistic treatment options.
