Laura Alvarez, PA

Laura Alvarez is a physician’s assistant and wound care specialist. She’s certified by the National Certification Committee for Physician Assistants. Laura completed her bachelor’s degree in microbiology in 1998 at the University of Houston – Downtown, where she also minored in chemistry. She earned her master’s in physician assistant studies in 2005 at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.
Over the course of her career, Laura has cared for patients at a number of Houston healthcare providers, including the Baylor College of Medicine/Baylor Breast Care Center, Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children’s Hospital, First Choice Wellness Center, and Trina Health Diabetic Clinic. She most recently worked as a physician’s assistant for Solutions Medical Group in inpatient and outpatient settings. Laura joined Kelsey-Seybold in August 2022.
