Sabiat Shittu, NP

After earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Prairie View A&M in 2014, Sabiat Shittu-Peters, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, originally cared for patients as a registered nurse, going on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of South Alabama in 2017. She became a family nurse practitioner, certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, after earning her Doctor of Nursing Practice , also at the University of South Alabama College of Nursing, in 2018. She joined Kelsey-Seybold in October 2023.
Dr. Shittu-Peters desires to empower patients and to be their advocate. With clinical interests in primary care prevention and education, Dr. Shittu-Peters cares for patients to diagnose, treat, and manage most acute, episodic, and chronic medical conditions such as hyperlipidemia, diabetes mellitus, anemia, COPD, asthma, urinary concerns, UTIs, bacterial and viral upper respiratory infections, conjunctivitis, pharyngitis, COVID 19, common dermatological conditions, allergies, minor injuries, and cardiovascular disease. In her practice, she most enjoys improving health care outcomes and meeting new people.
