Biography

After earning her Master of Science degree in nursing from the University of Texas Medical Branch in 2020, Lindsay Riddick worked as both an educator at HCA Clear Lake Hospital and later as a family nurse practitioner in pediatric practices. At Kelsey-Seybold, she serves patients in League City, where she treats a variety of chronic and episodic illnesses.
Before becoming a nurse practitioner, she worked as a staff nurse at CHI St. Luke’s Hospital, Texas Children’s Hospital, and HCA Clear Lake Hospital, where she assisted in operating rooms, assisted critical cardiac pediatric patients, and helped patients recover after surgery.
Lindsay prioritizes listening to her patients’ concerns and spending time educating them throughout their treatment, including how they can best care for themselves. She focuses on collaborating with the patient to create a plan of care that is individualized to their needs.
She summed it up like this: “As a nurse practitioner, my philosophy of nursing is based upon building a collaborative relationship between provider and patient with the common goal of improving quality of life through practicing evidence-based medicine. I am a lifelong learner and enjoy imparting my knowledge to my patients to empower them to achieve their health goals.”
