Fisayomi Shobayo, MD

Dr. Fisayomi Shobayo is a cardiologist at Kelsey-Seybold. She earned her medical degree in 2012 at Peninsula College of Medicine & Dentistry in Plymouth, United Kingdom. She completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) Internal Medicine Residency Training Program in 2019. In addition, she also completed her general cardiovascular disease and advanced echocardiography fellowship at UTHealth Houston in 2022, where she served as the Chief Cardiovascular Disease Fellow.
Dr. Shobayo’s love for science and desire to help people inspired her to pursue a career in medicine. Her dedication to advancing cardiovascular health and aspirations to improve people’s lives led her to specialize in cardiology. She is board certified in internal medicine, and fluent in English and Yoruba.
